Where in the world is Rachel?

Well, the photography madness has already begun with my new camera...which is amazingly resilient even after being dropped on the concrete (I won't name any names ). Luke, Tesha, and Pete came up with me for the weekend and we had some great times being tourists...Giants game, Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, Palace of Fine Arts, Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz. For the rest of the week, I'll be galavanting around the city with Caitlin & friends before I fly onto the real adventure Down Under. More details to come...

Although there is never enough time in the day to spend with my grandmother, the 4 days I had with her were wonderful. We reminisced through photo albums, shared stories of our lives, went out for a delicious Italian meal to celebrate my Aunt Malinda's birthday (we won't use numbers), and one of our favorites...watched old movies while sipping on grasshoppers.
