Hong Kong & Macau, China

sunny 0 °F

This is the LAST STOP of my 6-month journey!!! :(

I was pleasantly surprised by Hong Kong, which I thought would just be another enormous, overcrowded Asian city, but turned out to be relatively breathable with some stunning landscape & beaches just on the outskirts. Macau was only a ferry ride away too, so I thought I might as well throw another country into the mix since I always welcome another stamp in my passport. The old part Portuguese quarters of the city were beautiful. I also met some really fun Germans who I palled around for my final traveling days, so I was especially grateful to have company on my last night as a nomad. So weird that it's all over...sigh.

Hope I've kept you entertained along the way. Stay tuned for more this summer when my Peace Corps epic begins. :) Love you all and can't wait to see most of you soon!
